| The Chevaliers worked on the principles of brotherhood, chivalry and respect, and their actions were to be strong, determined and aimed at supporting Torni. The Chevaliers published a Torni magazine and booklets with basic gastronomic information. Gastronomy and culinary delights were thought to establish strong mutual bonds, and indeed they did. The Torni Chevaliers still convene annually to celebrate the society’s anniversary and to confer new members on the society’s founding date, 19th September. |
